Our free-standing luxury cottages have been architecturally planned for privacy while taking advantage of impressive panoramic views over our renowned 1837 Barossa vineyards and the Barossa range, which many consider as the best views of the Barossa. Perfect for a romantic weekend in the vines!
Each self-contained cottage has access to a garden with a terrace with vineyard views and an outdoor day bed. The living room with fireplace and sofa is furnished with beautiful French antique furniture and modern design classics, adjoined by a dining area. The spacious bedroom with king size bed and a laptop desk. Living room, dining and bedroom have large windows overlooking the vineyard.
The private bathroom has a spa bath and double showers. Each cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge, oven, dishwasher and an outdoor BBQ. A toaster, a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine are available in each cottage. Coffee and tea is provided. Further amenities include free Wi-Fi, 2 flat-screen TV (incl. Netflix in living room), washing machine with dryer, air conditioning and heating. An ATP sized tennis court is available at no costs for our accommodation guests. This is a self-serviced and self-contained cottage. We will not enter the cottage during your stay as we respect your privacy.
The cottages are located on the spectacular 1837 Barossa estate, which includes Barossa Colonel Light Monument and Iconic Barossa Manor commemorating the birthplace of the Barossa. You will be able the walk the 1837 Barossa Art Trail, which compromises of a dozen photo friendly and very colourful modern Art sculptures. The Horizon@1837 Restaurant & Cellar Door on the estate is open Wednesdays-Saturdays 11am to late, Sundays 11am to 4pm. Booking is recommended. Guided Vineyard Walks & Wine Experiences can be pre-booked one day beforehand and are available Fridays-Sundays. Car parking is available for free and each cottage is wheelchair accessible.
1837 Barossa is located in Lyndoch, Barossa Valley which is only 50 minutes from Adelaide CBD. The nearest international airport is Adelaide Airport. A helipad is available on site for drop-off, pick-up and for helicopter wine tours.
